Meet Stacy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. I attained a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Florida State University in 1998.

My past clinical work has shaped me into an effective individual and family interventionist.  My professional experience as the children’s unit director at a residential treatment center, a therapist in a special school setting, and my private practice in Austin, offered me the rich experience of individual, group, and family counseling, treatment planning, and behavior modification. I implemented and coordinated a pilot kindergarten program with children experiencing emotional difficulties.  My program had a 100 percent success rate in that all of the students completed the program in one year and returned to their home schools.  While pursuing my MSSW, I had the opportunities to intern at The Settlement Home and the Child/Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit at St. David’s Pavilion.

I have the privilege of living with my family and working in the Dripping Springs community. I have been serving Dripping Springs in private practice for seven years. I've been married for 21 years and I have two sons: my oldest, who graduated from DSISD and now attends The University of Arkansas and my youngest, who attends Dripping Springs High School.  Both children were raised in DSISD schools and sports. In my free time, I enjoy working out, walking my dog, reading, and decorating.
